Arnold Black
February 22, 1934 — October 11, 2017
Arnold Black, age 83 , passed away early Wednesday October 11, 2017 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. He was born in Flatlick, Kentucky on February 22, 1934 the son of the late George and Orna (Smith) Black.
Arnold believed in putting in an honest day's work and spent 30 years working for Cincinnati Tool Company as a punch press and set-up operator. He also was committed to enjoying life, on July 26, 1980 he married the late,Iinez Rose Meisberger and they spent the next 34 years together until her death in 2014.
He had a competitive side to him, he enjoyed watching basketball and supporting the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. He became a very skilled pool player and wasn't one you wanted to draw in a tournament. Arnold enjoyed relaxing by watching an old western, his favorite being "Gun Smoke," or simply spending a Sunday afternoon with family.
He is survived by father-in-law Lawrence Billman and numerous nieces and nephews.
