Bernie Ward, age 76 of Osgood entered this world on October 1, 1938 in Batesville, Indiana. He was the son of the late Charles Paul & Louise A. Schroder Ward. He married Glenna Marie Grills April 22, 1961 & she still survives at home.
Bernie was a lifetime member of St. John's Catholic Church of Osgood. He had worked thirty-four years for Monsanto of Addyston, Ohio retiring in 1994. He had belonged to the Osgood Fire Department. He also had done farming in the Ripley County area. One of his very favorite places to go, along with his wife Glenna, was the Great Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN. He loved fishing & the great outdoors & Glenna jokingly stated he loved his Krispy Kreme Donuts! He was known among his many friends near & far as a very loving, joking & caring man! He will be deeply missed by his wife, family & friends. Bernie passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville, IN .
