Bonnie Mae Oneal

Bonnie Mae Oneal, age 84, of Osgood passed away at Manderley Health Care on March 9, 2020.  Bonnie was born on April 3, 1935 the daughter of the late Joseph E and Suvila (Griffith) Ball in Roswell, New Mexico.

Bonnie grew up in New Mexico along with her sisters and attended school in Roswell.  She entered the workforce early on and spent years being a waitress.  Bonnie worked several years for the Golden Nugget.  Bonnie spent several years in the New Mexico and California area, and in Oklahoma.  Life would see her move closer to her daughter in Indiana and spend the last nearly 20 years.

Bonnie enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be boating or camping she was always ready to go.  She liked to travel, shop and good Mexican food.  She was known to like a good cold beer with friends and family.

She is survived by sons Benny Joe (Vickie) Lawson and Roy E Popejoy Jr., daughters Angie (Dennis) Gaither and Rhonda (Victor Rodriguez) Lawson, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild, along with several niece and nephews.  Bonnie was preceded in death by husband Arthur R Oneal, her parents, and sisters Mary Lu Kasco and Billie Jo Burgess.
