Charles Paul Meister, age 81 of Osgood, IN entered this life on January 24, 1933 in Batesville, Indiana. He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Josephine Glaub Meister. He married Glenda Gayle Jeffries July 26, 1952 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and she still survives at home. They were blessed with six sons and two daughters. Paul was an army Veteran having served his country from 1953 to 1955. He was also a past employee with Batesville Tool and Die INC from where he retired. Paul also was a farmer. His family expressed that he especially enjoyed the farm and also the animals. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Osgood and the Knights of Columbus. During the latter part of his life, he and his wife Glenda had enjoyed wintering in Florida. His family clearly stated that the greatest thing in Paul's life was his family that he loved so much. Paul died peacefully at his home Sunday evening, July 27, 2014 with his family at his side.

One daughter preceded him in death, Barbara Sloan along with
three grandchildren; Jennifer & Michelle Sloan and grandson, Nic Meister.
Also five brothers preceded him in death; Robert, WM, John ,Frank and Joseph Meister along with three sisters; Rosella Holzer, Lenora Cool and Betty Rouse.

All in one day/ Tuesday, July 29, 2014/ St. John's Catholic Church of Osgood.
Visitation: 10:00 am -12:00 Noon
Funeral: 12:00 Noon

Military Graveside Services by: Osgood AM Legion and Napoleon VFW.
