Charles Robert "Butch" Noel, age 65 of Versailles, IN was born on February 20, 1949 in Milan, IN . He was the son of the late Charley Noel & Mary Evelyn Stainton Folsom. Charles was a Vietnam Army Veteran and had received a Purple Heart. He belonged to the Versailles American Legion.

He had worked various jobs in his life . He was a collector of various years of model cars and also enjoyed flying the remote operated airplanes & helicopters. Another past time hobby was playing his guitar & banjo. His family remarked that he always was buying old tractors or other motor operated machinery and he would fix them up and sell them for a little profit! For the last 15 years of his life, he lived with his mother and lovingly watched over her and took care of her. Again, his family jokingly stated that he loved mowing the yard and sometimes they think, he probably mowed two to three times a week! He will be missed by his family & friends. Butch died September 10, 2014 at his home.
