Chester Lee Asche, age 84 formerly of Osgood, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Jennings Health Care Center in North Vernon, IN . He was born October 15, 1928 in Osgood, IN . His parents were Clarence Theodore & Mary Daisy Schmaltz Asche. Chester was a Korean Army Veteran that had received the purple heart. He had been a lineman for Union Hall in Indianapolis for 30 years; had attended Cedar Creek Community Church of Osgood; past member of the Keene Henneke VFW Post of Napoleon & also had been a member of the Osgood Odd Fellows.
