Cleo Harold Blake, age 88 of Indianapolis, IN was born April 3, 1927 in Williams, IN . He was the son of the late Reno & Eva Blake. Cleo married Gloria Ruth Moody & she preceded him in death November 30, 2005. He was a WW II Navy Veteran. He had worked for Ransburg of Indianapolis as a trouble shooter & service technician. This job took him to many different places in the US & also different countries. Along with his job, he enjoyed photography. His son Russell stated that his dad was actually an avid photographer with literally hundreds of pictures taken over his lifetime. Cleo also had gotten his pilot's license in the early 1950's and had enjoyed flying for many years. Another hobby he had been involved in was tinkering with radios. He had built a radio that he could actually use to listen to the communication among pilots. His son Russell expressed that his father was a very caring man. He stated that his father had always supported Boys Town & the Salvation Army. He also had supported the American Red Cross by giving blood for many years. Cleo had received the Sagamore of the Wabash award presented to him by Indiana's past Governor Orr. Lastly, he & his late wife Ruth had attended the Osgood Christian Church and then later the New Testament Christian Church of Osgood. He had served as a deacon and had held other offices within the church. He & Ruth had maintained a home in the Osgood area that they would come & stay at over the many years of their marriage. Cleo quietly past away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Arbor Grove in Greensburg, IN .

Half Brother: Ronnie Blake of Bloomington, IN
Sister: Anna Dee Craig
Four Half sisters: Joan, Inamae, Linda & Juanita.
Grandchild: Jeremiah Blake of Nashville, TN

One half brother preceded him in death: John D. Blake

Visitation:
11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Funeral: 1:00 pm
