Gerald Freeman Workman age 71 of Osgood, Indiana, entered this life on December 20, 1942 in Milan, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Wm. Cash and Mamie Pearl Armstrong Workman. Gerald was an Airforce veteran having served his country from 1961 until 1964. He was then united in marriage to Lois Louise Roberts on August 7, 1965 at the Delaware Methodist Church in Delaware, Indiana. Gerald had worked as a Plant Superintendent for Ohio Rod in Versailles, Indiana from where he retired after working forty one years.
He was a member of the Delaware Methodist Church where he had held different offices over the many years. His wife Lois expressed, even though he was greatly struggling with his illness towards the end, he loved his church and continued until he was physically unable to attend anymore. He had worked with and set upon upon the Board of Directors of the Osgood Boy Scouts Troop # 638. Gerald especially loved his family and spending time with them. Hobbies that he enjoyed were working with wood creating craft items and he also enjoyed gardening! His family stated that he would plant the garden and his favorite thing from this would be the making of sauerkraut from a family recipe that had been handed down from his family only to the men ! Fishing and catching turtles were favorite pass time's, along with frog gigging with his family! He was a devoted husband and dad. Gerald passed away early Saturday morning, November 15, 2014 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Daughter: Lora Lea (Eric) Workman Cole of Vevay, Indiana.

Dana Brooke Roberts (Jeremy) Carson of Sunman, Indiana

Sister-in-law: Lorraine Workman of Osgood

Grandchildren: 10

He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Workman.
