John R. Trifilio, age 81 of Cincinnati, Ohio entered this life on December 20, 1932. He was the son of the late Eugene & Edna Trifilio (Schlenker). He was united in marriage to Arlene Papenhaus on September 14, 1957.
John was an Army Korean Veteran. He was employed by Cincinnati Bell for 32 years. During this time, John earned his Bachelor's degree in business marketing from University of Cincinnati, leading to his position as Account Manager of General Electric located in Evendale, Ohio. Upon retirement, John began a new career by founding and developing his own communications business. John and his wife Arlene expanded their business for 30 years.
John was a Masonic member of the Columbia Lodge # 0044 F & AM located in Miami, Ohio.
John was an active member and leader of his church, St. Peter's Finks UCC, working with Promise Keepers, Walk of Emmaus, and other ministry duties.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and other sports, and traveled whenever possible.
John died on Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Daughter: Debra Oestreicher of Cincinnati, Ohio

Sisters;
Joan Troll and June Trifilio, both of Cincinnati, Ohio

Grandchildren: Victoria and Joel

One brother preceded him in death, Frank Trifilio.
