John Carlie Wilson Jr. , age 75 of Osgood, Indiana entered this life on May 4, 1939 in Wheatley, Kentucky. He was the son of the late John Carlie & Nancy Edwards Wilson. John married Marjorie Maxine Burress on August 2, 1969 and she preceded him in death November 13, 2007. John had worked as a truck driver for Sharon Brown of Greensburg, Indiana for 21 years retiring in April of 2006. He was a past member of the Osgood Odd Fellows; the Eagles Club of Greensburg and the Moose Lodge of North Vernon, Indiana. He also had attended Bethany Baptist Church in Osgood. John passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood.

Many grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Beulah Cayton.


There will be private graveside services.
