Joseph Castner Turner age 40 of Osgood, Indiana was born September 5, 1974 in Batesville, Indiana. He was the son of the late Donald Joe and India Carolynn Castner Turner who still survives in Osgood. Joe married Holly Lee Ent on October 9, 1999 at the Osgood First Baptist Church and she still survives in Osgood. He had worked approximately seventeen years for Bruns-Gutzwiller Inc of Batesville, Indiana as a carpenter. During the early years of his employment, he had attended Ivy Tech College where he received an associate degree in business.
Joe's wife stated that they had taken different family trips over their lives but, the favorite trip for them was when they were married and flew to Seattle, WA and drove down the coast.
Joe enjoyed camping with his family at various places over the years and Versailles State Park was a favorite spot! He was a very strong Colts fan. Fishing, target shooting and riding four wheelers with his two sons were the very special times that Joe enjoyed! He will be so sadly missed by his family and friends. Joe passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 .
