Linda Jo (Myers) Haskins
July 25, 1953 — November 4, 2021
Linda Jo Haskins, age 68 of New Albany passed away on Thursday November 4, 2021. She was born on July 25, 1953 the daughter of the late Melvin and Eileen (Gleason) Myers.
Upon completion of high scholl Linda attended Indiana University. She worked several years in the admistration offices of Indiana University Southeast. She began working in a new role in the late 80’s and would meet Stephen Haskins. They were united in marriage on November 24, 1989, and would have celebrated their 32nd annivesary in a couple weeks.
Linda retired in 2019 and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her hobbies included making crafts and collecting stamps.
She will be deeply missed by husband Steve, daughter Marjorie Hersman, son Brad Hersman, brother Charlie Myers, and sister Julie Thornberg.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday Novemeber 9, 2021 from 10 am.-12 pm. At Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm., followed by burial at Greendale Cemetery outside of Osgood. Memorials can be given to the Pulomonary Fibrosis Foundation in her memory.
