Linda Kay (Knarr) Roark

L inda Kay Roark, 73, of North Vernon, Indiana, passed away at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville on December 25, 2024.  She was born on September 12, 1951, the daughter of Loren Eldon and Florence Knarr. She graduated from Jennings County High School and worked for several years in the factories of Gecom and Arvin.

Linda was married to Carmel "John" Roark for 27 wonderful years before his passing in January 2023. She found joy in quilting, tending to her flower garden, and watching H-TV shows about construction projects.

She is survived by her sons Terry (Stacy) Roark, Tony (Joann) Roark, and Jerry (Latasha) Roark; daughters Debbie Daniel Moore) Hamilton and Wendy (Tracy) Blodgett; sister Charlene; brother Ray; several grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, her daughter Laura Peetz, and her brother Marlin Knarr.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Little Memories Cemetery in Sunman, Indiana, with brother Dale Boyd officiating. Online condolences maybe placed at Nealsfuneralhome.net Arrangements have been entrusted to Neal's Funeral Home in Osgood.
