Lois Woodin Mink

Lois Woodin Mink age 101 of Osgood, IN passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was born March 14, 1912 in Columbus, Ohio. Her parents were Edward Charles & Agnes Julia Woodin Huff. Lois married Donald Wm Mink August 22, 1935 & he preceded her in death December 17, 1983.

Lois had attended Ohio State University where she received her bachelor's degree in Home Economics . With her teaching degree, she had taught school at what was then, Osgood High School & also at Southeastern Indiana Vocational School. She & her husband Don, had owned & operated a farm. She also had worked for the Ripley County Welfare Department from 1960 to 1965.She had served as a board member of the Jac-Cen-Del School Corporation . Other memberships included a past member of the Osgood Entre Nous Club & still was a member of the Osgood United Methodist Church. Lois loved her family, friends & also had enjoyed living on the family farm, still taking long walks until she moved into Manderley Health Care Center back in June of 2013.

One son, John Edward Mink preceded her in death.
