Loraine (Howell) Snively, age 93 of Osgood passed away on March 26, 2021. Loraine was born on October 6, 1927 the daughter of the late Walter and Catherine (Meyer) Howell in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Upon her graduation of school, she would meet and marry Eugene “Gene” Snively on July 11, 1947 at the Osgood United Methodist Church. After they married, they moved to East Canton, Ohio and began their family. They were blessed with 2 daughters Yvonne and Cheryl. Loraine was active on the family farm and different activities around the community. Gene and Loraine celebrated their 73-anniversary last summer. Gene passed away earlier this year.
Loraine is survived by daughters Yvonne Page of Shelbyville and Cheryl Ross of Shelbyville along with 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Gene, her parents, brother Clarence Howell, and sister Betty Bohner.
Loraine’s wishes were to be buried along with her husband Gene at Greendale Cemetery. Graveside services will be held on Saturday April 3 at 10:00 am. at Greendale Cemetery. Online condolences may be placed at Nealsfuneralhome.net
