Loren Wesley Pindell age 85 of Sunman, Indiana was born February 24, 1929 in Dearborn County, Indiana. He was the son of the late Lesley Marion and Alma Marie Schweers Pindell. Loren was an Army Korean Veteran. He married Bertie Lou Norris and they were blessed with ten children. She preceded him in death in 1997. He then married Bertha Jane Sheridan July 10, 1999 and she still survives at home.
Loren worked for the Hill-Rom Company of Batesville, Indiana for 25 years retiring in 1991. He also had worked as a very skilled carpenter during his lifetime. He had attended Osgood Church of the Nazarene in Osgood and in the later years, he became a member of the Dearborn Baptist Church in Manchester, Indiana. Loren was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. His family was the most important part of his life. A favorite past time was fishing with his wife and family. He was an excellent marksman and enjoyed hunting, and on opening day of deer season his family stated he always got a deer! Gardening was also a great pleasure for Loren. He was a master at raising potatoes and was quite proud of the fact! Cooking was another quality he had and enjoyed. Another past time was..... watching cowboy movies starring his favorite cowboy, John Wayne! His family stated they were a very close family, they loved their DAD and stated his passing was Heaven's gain and their loss. Loren passed away quietly at his home on Saturday, August 2, 2014 .
