Marvin Fred Hacker, age 85 of Sunman passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021. He was born in Harrison, Ohio on January 12, 1936, the son of the late Morgan and Dorothy (Clark) Hacker.
He was a Graduate of Sunman Dearborn Class of 1954. He proudly served in the United States Military. Upon his completion of service, he began his work career. He spent over 30 years working for I&M Power Plant in Lawrenceburg. He worked in maintenance and became a Master Electrician.
He enjoyed being on his home place in Sunman from farming and gardening to various chores around the garage. Many hours were spent simply piddling in the garage. He loved to attend various auctions, and very seldom did he return without a purchase. His family was the center of his world, spending time with his grandchildren took the highest priority.
He will be missed by his wife Sue, sons Jeff (Gayle) Hacker and Marvin (Teresa) Hacker, daughter Wendy (Don) Fronk, several grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 10 am.-11 am., at Pipe Creek Baptist Church in Penntown, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held at 11 Am., with Burial following at Riverview Cemetery in Aurora. Memorials can be given to the Fragile X Foundation in the care of the funeral home.
