Marvin Joseph Stenger

Marvin Joseph Stenger Sr., age 81 passed away Friday August 18, at his home in Osgood.  Marvin was born the son of the late Oscar and Helen (Wilhelm) Stenger on June 25, 1936 in South Gate, IN.

Marvin married Margaret (McAdams) in March of 1955 and celebrated their 62 ^nd anniversary earlier this year.  They were blessed with 4 children; sons Marvin (Robin) of Indianapolis, Michael (Darlene) of Osgood, and daughters Mia (Robert) Pickett of Alabama and the late Melody.  He was also the proud grandpa of 7 grandchildren and 3 great ones.

Marvin was a union carpenter for his work career in the Cincinnati area, and his favorite hobby was more work on his farms around Cedar Grove.  He believed in giving it your all, and liked to point out, he walked to school every day, snow, rain, or sunshine because that is what you did, Michael his son felt it should be noted, that his childhood house was next door to the school house in South Gate.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Melody, and brothers Vincent and Francis.  No services are scheduled at this time.
