Melvin Russell Ogden

Melvin Russell Ogden, age 70, of Osgood passed away on Sunday May 30, 2021. He was born on July 24, 1950, the son of the late Dallas and Ellen (Barnes) Ogden in Milan, Indiana.
Melvin was a lifelong resident of Osgood. He had worked for several years at the US Shoe Factory and then for J & J Packaging in Sunman. He enjoyed junking along with his brother. Melvin loved the outdoors and his dogs. He was a member of the Sons of Osgood American Legion.
He will be missed by brother Dallas Doug (Debbie) Ogden of Osgood, sisters; Linda, Bonnie, and Tina all of Osgood, sons Russell and Dallas of North Carolina, and daughter Terra Ogden of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Rita M Ridner.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 4, 2021, from 10-12 pm. Funeral services will be at 12 pm., also on Friday. All services will be held at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood. Memorials can be given to the family in care of the funeral home. Online condolences can be left at Nealsfuneralhome.net
