Melvin Dues Richardson, age 80 of Osgood, IN died October 4, 2009 at Ripley Crossing in Milan, IN .
He was born November 30, 1928 to the parents of Roy & Nora Jewell Richardson. He married Mary Anna Barnes on June 10, 1950 & she preceded him in death on January 7, 1999.

Brother: Donald Richardson of Osgood
Grandchildren: 2, Kevin (Rebecca) Westerman of Lexington, KY and Mindy (Westerman) Potts of Osgood.

Preceded in death by 1 brother & 1 sister.
Melvin did a tour of duty in the Korean War from 1952-1954. He was honorably discharged with a 3 star medal and honors.
He retired from Hillenbrand Industries after 47 years of service. He was a member of the Cedar Creek Community Church .
