Paul Simers

Larry “Paul” Simers age 77 of Holton passed away on Friday October 15. He was born on June 17, 1944, the son of the late Bud and Francis (Young) Simers in Delaware.

Paul grew up in the Delaware community with is brothers and attended Napoleon Schools. Upon completion of school, he entered the United States Military. Upon completion of his service, he began his working career. He spent time working in Arkansas and Texas in the oil fields, before returning to Indiana. He closed his working years out working for Embus Roofing.

Paul is survived significant other Jane, sons; Paul (Amanda) Jr., Michael, and Tommy (Andrea), daughters Monica (Timothy), Sherry, Shelly (Tasha), and Tina (Larry), grandchildren; Derrick, Kelsey, Gage, Corbyn, Amber, Tony, Brittany, and Timmy, brother Jim, sister-in-law Linda, along with numerous niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard, and son Travis.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday October 22, 2021, from 5-8 pm. at the Rising Sun Legion Post 59, in Rising Sun, Indiana. Memorials can be given to the Legion Post 59. Online condolences can be placed on Nealsfuneralhome.net
