Ramona Louise Mitchell

Ramona Louise Mitchell, age 54 of Versailles unexpectedly passed away on Friday November 1, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was born on April 25, 1970, the daughter of the late Raymond and Betty Jo (Jordan) Mitchell.

She was a graduate of Blackford High School in Hartford City, Indiana.  She began her work career in customer service and retail sales.  Life would see her and her family move back to Versailles community several years ago.  Ramona worked in the area at Jay C, Taco Bell, and most recently at Dollar General in Versailles.

Ramona loved being with her family. She enjoyed reading various books or crocheting at home.  She also liked to watch TV, with some favorite shows being WWE Wrestling, Survivor, and Big Brother.  Also, very close to her heart was her pets, she enjoyed their companionship.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter Erica Mitchell, son Andrew Mitchell, sisters, Brenda (Bill) Warren and Angela (Danny) Meadors, and cousins, Mike, David, Julie, Alesha, and Crystal.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will take place on November 16, 2024, at Greendale Cemetery in Osgood.  Memorials may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.  Online condolences may be placed at Nealsfuneralhome.net
