Rosemary Eden, 94, of Osgood, Indiana, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025. Born in Butler County, Ohio, on October 21, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Wilder Sr. and Daisy Mae Wilder.
Rosemary dedicated her life to being a loving mother and homemaker, a role she cherished deeply. She married the love of her life, Robert Floyd Eden, and together they built a beautiful family. Robert preceded her in death.
Rosemary enjoyed simple pleasures, such as watching soap operas, tending to her flowers, and raising a garden. She took particular pride in planting and harvesting her own blackberries. After her marriage, she and Robert initially resided in Friendship before settling in Osgood, where she spent the last 50-plus years of her life.
She is survived by her sons Larry Kenneth, Benjamin Richard, and Robert Wayne; daughters Victoria Jane and Sheila Renee Dugle (husband Lee); sisters Jewel Wilder and Janet Davis; and her cherished grandchildren Jennifer Lynn, Donna Jo, Corrina Ann Renee, Erica Sue, James Thomas Connelley, and Jennifer Elizabeth.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by her brothers Ford and Thomas Jefferson Wilder Jr., sister Ruth, and her grandson Zachary Gayle.
Family and friends are invited to honor her memory at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
