Ruth May Kress Huneke, age 93, of Osgood, Indiana entered this life on May 21, 1920 in Ripley County, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Henry F. and Marie L. Eaton Kress. On December 10, 1938, she was united in marriage to Woodrow J. Huneke, and he preceded her in death. Ruth died on April 24, 2014 at Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood, Indiana. She and her husband were blessed with one daughter. She was a loving mother and a wonderful homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ (Fink's) and had been a member of the Worthwhile Home Ec. Club in Napoleon, a 4-H leader for 13 years in Ripley County, and an active member of the Ladies Aid of the church.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one great grandson, and two sisters Anna Fletcher and Edna Nickel.

SERVICES:
VISITATION: Sunday, April 27, 2014, from 3-5 p.m. at Neal's Funeral Home.

SERVICES: Monday, April 28, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's United Church of Christ (Fink's). She will lie in state from 9:00 until time of the funeral.
