Sharon Ray (Norman) Gibson

Sharon Ray Gibson, age 69, formerly of Versailles, passed away on Thursday March 23 at the Waters in Dillsboro.  She was born on February 3, 1954 the daughter of the late Raymond and Esther (Hartwell) Norman in Batesville.

After school she would fall in love with Ronald Gibson.  They were united in marriage and blessed with a daughter Rhonda.  Sharon’s world revolved around making the house a home.  She was always willing to help others out.  She had enjoyed collecting stuffed and keepsake bears over the years.

She will be missed by daughter Rhonda (Charles) Lockaby of Independence, Kentucky, grandson Christopher (Bryane’a) Lockaby of Covington, granddaughter Melanie (Justin) Lipscomb of Independence, as well as great grandson Caleb.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald, and sister Shirley DiMeglio.

Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 4-5 pm., with funeral services at 5 pm.  All services will be held at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood.  Memorials can be given to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home.  Online condolences may be placed at Nealsfuneralhome.net
