Shirley M. Myers, age 85 of Osgood, IN passed away Wednesday, September19, 2012 at Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. . She was born September 29, 1926 in Tazewell, TN to the parents of Harrison H. & Elsie L. Keck Hopper. She married Paul L. Myers & he preceded her in death April 4, 2006.
In the middle 1940's, Shirley , had worked at the Oak Ridge, TN Factory where they were involved in the construction of the Atomic Bomb. Later, in the 1960's, she had worked in Richmond, IN at the Mercury Record Factory. In the 1970's through the 1980's, she owned & operated the Le Curl Beauty Salon in Versailles, IN . Later, she worked as a cosmetologist, for Manderley Health Care Center, in Osgood where she finally retired.
Shirley was a member of the Osgood First Baptist Church. In her later years, she attended the Osgood Nazarene Church.

Daughter: Vicki Ent (Tim Christman)
Three Grandaughters survive:
Holly & husband Joe Turner of Osgood.
Stefanie & husband Mike Christie of the country Malta.
Rachel & husband Cory Dufrene of Osgood.
Eight Great Grandchildren:
Jarod, Cameron, Jack, Caden, Alec, Jesse, Cole & Corbin.
Many nieces & nephews survive.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Harley & Lee Vonnie Hopper. Also, four sisters: Hazel Tolliver, Opal Kelley, Alma McNeely & Wilma Ping.

All in one day/ Saturday, September 22, 2012/ Osgood Nazarene Church.
Visitation: 10:00 am -12:00 Noon
Funeral: 12:00 Noon
Burial: Cravens Cemetery, Milan, IN
