William J. Wagner, age 89 of Osgood, Indiana was born July 12, 1926 in Osgood. He was the son of the late Fred and Dorothea Strang Wagner. He married Wanda Lee White April 10, 1948 and she preceded him in death on May 30, 2003. Bill was a WW II Navy Veteran. He belonged to the William A. Gilland American Legion Post # 267, was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 603, a past Boy Scout scout master plus he served as an executive committee member of the Boy Scout Troop # 638 all of Osgood. In the earlier part of his life he was co-owner and operator of the RC Bottling Company that had been located in Osgood. Along with his many accomplishments, he proudly served as the Ripley County Treasurer from 1980 to 1988. He was a member of St. Peter's UN Church of Christ "Finks" of Osgood. As you can see, Bill loved his country and especially his community. On Monday morning, November 30, 2015 with family by his side, he quietly passed away at Ripley Crossing in Milan, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by two brother Charles "Bud" Frederick and James Edward Wagner.
